Paresh Kumar

During the last two decades in his career, Paresh has made many contributions to research, monitoring and evaluation in the social development sector. Paresh has co-authored the book “Is it really Clean–creating a WASH Index”. He has published his research work in international journals like The Lancet Global Health, Social Science & Medicine, Implementation Science, AIDS Education & Prevention, IRC International Water and Sanitation Centre. Paresh is the architect of an innovative BCC model called M4DTM (Music for Development).
He has spearheaded several Measurement, Learning and Evaluation (MLE) grants funded by Government, trusts, foundations, INGOs, bi-laterals and other development partners in the area of public health, nutrition, livelihood, education, child rights and WASH. Paresh has travelled the length and breadth of India that has given him a remarkable feel for the pulse of the real India. The early stage of Paresh’s life was marked with disciplined education, cricket, a rich vein of the creative life and with powerful essence of music and culture. Whenever he finds time, he enjoys strumming his guitar, composing songs or jingles. He has keen interest in Urdu and Hindi literature and loves writing poems and shayari.

Minal Srivastava

Minal is one of the co-founders of DevInsights, who brings on board skills of planning and coordinating administrative procedures and systems and devising ways to streamline processes. She has actively been involved in recruiting personnel and allocate responsibilities and as well office space. She is keen observer with eye on details and provide insights to ensure maximum efficiency within the organization. Her professionalism, sincerity, optimism, quality and timeliness are her key strengths. Minal is a commerce graduate with around 10 years of experience in the service sector including banking and automobile sectors. She has in past worked with Toyota & HSBC group. She is brilliant cook and loves feeding and pampering people with her sumptuous delicacies.

Dr. K Satheesh Kumar

Dr. Satheesh has around two decades of professional experience in the field of Social Research and worked with various donor and social research agencies across India. He has led several national and state level research assignments funded by reputed donors such as World Bank, UNDP, UNICEF, IFPRI, NACO, CDC-Atlanta, USA, CIFF-UK, etc. He is specialized in, Designing and implementing Baseline survey, Impact assessment and process monitoring; Communication strategies for targeted interventions; Poverty alleviation, Livelihood development and women empowerment; Corporate social responsibility and Shared value creation strategies; Data analysis, interpretation and reporting.
Satheesh is a PhD in Social Work from University of Madras. Based out of Chennai, with strong networks with other South states like Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Satheesh handles the South India operations of DevInsights. He is a passionate social worker with great admiration for music and art.

Rahul Jain

Rahul Jain is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) with more than 10 years of experience in program finance, accounts & MIS, financial viability analysis for new projects, implementation of systems and processes. Rahul ensures efficient and effective use of the project resources ensures that all project operations are in full compliance with DevInsights policies and Indian law.

Nutan Lamba

Nutan Lamba is Graduate in Maths from Delhi University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). She had more than 10 years of experience in program finance, accounts & MIS implementation of systems and processes.
Nutan has managed accounting and finance operations for different industries ranging from Manufacturing, Trading, Services etc. She is keen learner and uses her capabilities and contribute for efficient and effective utilisation of resources of the organisation and in full compliance with DevInsights policies and Indian law.
She believes in growth through learning and constantly strives to learn and upgrade her skill which will contribute and useful with the organisations with which she is working.
In her free time, she likes to cook and explore different place and read books.

Rashi Goel

Rashi is an Economics graduate from Kirori Mal College, Delhi University. After completing her Masters in Economics from Madras School of Economics, Rashi had a short stint with a leading IT service company. While working there, she found her calling and realized that it is just the social development sector that she identifies with and wishes to make a career in. During her graduation, she interned with a couple of NGOs and cherishes that experience the most.
Fond of reading and observing societal behaviors, Rashi is keen on doing her bit for the society. With a knack of learning new things, she enjoys dealing with data sets, theories and exploring new econometric techniques to gain better insights. In her leisure time, you can always find her binge-watching shows and movies.

Manika Tomar

Manika is an Economics graduate from St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi and a post graduate in Sociology from Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi. She has a keen interest in the development sector and has previously interned at Indian Development Foundation specializing in the informal labor sector trends in income in India. She has undertaken academic projects focusing on money supply and plastic money, gender and sports, sports diplomacy.
Manika has two years of professional experience across various themes like Communications, Public Health, Livelihood, Education, and Women Empowerment etc. wherein she worked with clients like IDRC and DFID in the past. Her work with DFID and IDRC has equipped her with great understanding of disability, technology, health information systems and Sexual and reproductive Health of women.

Sakshi Nigam

Sakshi holds a Master’s degree in Sustainable Development Practice from TERI School of Advanced Studies where she has gained practical exposure of designing and conducting research projects for not-for profits. She holds nearly 1.5 years of experience in development sector with keen interest in public health equity, sexual and reproductive health and rights. She has presented two papers related to maternal and newborn health at 38th and 40th Annual IASP conference respectively. Apart from work, she loves to do swimming, running and try different kinds of workout.

Shivangni Vishwakarma

After completing her Master’s degree in Commerce Shivangni started her professional career with DevInsights. She works with the Admin and Finance department in DevInsights looking after and responsible for all administrative and financial needs for the teams and projects that DevInsights handles. She also contributes towards the human resource and infrastructural management of the organisation. She believes in growth through learning and constantly strives to learn something new related to each and any aspect of project management through her colleagues. Her strength can be defined by the three Ps – Patience, Perseverance and Professionalism.
In her free time, you can find her trying to cook or exploring new places to travel and meet up with friends.

Jithu Paulson

Jithu Paulson is committed and passionate about working for the marginalized sections of the society. He understands that research is fundamental for the right interventions and has an aspiration to make evidence-based interventions and policies. After his graduation in Physics, he took the path of social science and pursued a Master’s in Sociology.
He worked as an Intern for District Administration, Kozhikode & EY after his post-graduation. Also, he completed a certificate program in Public Policy from the Indian School of Public Policy, New Delhi. When he is free, he likes to enjoy football and its tactical analysis. Football and Lionel Messi influenced his life and personality. He also finds comfort in life by traveling around in a bike.

Abhinesh Mani Pathak

For time and the world do not stand still. Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past or the present are certain to miss the future”. Abhinesh has lived the above phrase. After completing his MBA, he started his career with the corporate world where he worked in the telecom and consumer durable sectors for the first 5 years. He later moved into the social development research and has been there thus far for the last 6 years.
An expert in team management, he has a grip on the field operations related issues and can easily sail through any project that he undertakes. He is keen observer, quick learner and understands the nuances of social development through his prior experience of managing project in the field of health, education, livelihood, gender, etc. He has worked for several clients and partners in the social development sector including NABARD, BMGF, Unicef, Word Bank etc.
When he is free, Abhinesh loves reading newspaper and doesn’t miss a chance taking a nap.

Dhairya Khatri

Dhairya is an Economics graduate from Delhi University. She was felicitated with the Star of the College Award in her college. She has consistently been an achiever in academics and won gold medal for academics in her 12th standard.
She possesses good leadership skills which she effectively displayed during her college where she was heading four different college societies. She is always on the lookout for new opportunities and gives her best to ensure maximum level of efficiency in all the work that she undertakes. Professionalism, optimism and hard work are her key strengths which she believes will help her attain her goals in life. She believes that aspirations for future help people strive towards a better career, and with this thought, she is determined to achieve all her dreams.
Dhairya has keen interest in the field of Research. She love to sketch, watch Anime and Action movies.

Neena Elizabeth George

Neena Elizabeth George is an aspiring political scientist who wish to serve and move humanity forward for a better future. She believes that inadequacy of research leads to the inefficiency of many policy initiatives aimed at developing society.
She completed her graduation and post graduation in Political Science from Delhi University. Looking forward to building a career in the development sector as a research and developmental specialist. Her area of interest lies in rural development, sustainable management of the environment and natural resource conservation, gender equality, and child rights.
