The objective of the study was to explore the short-term and long-term effects of migration on gender and social relations, resource and labour allocation, decision-making in selected rice-based cropping systems , and the related socio- cultural changes within the community in Bihar

Devinsights conducted the survey across three districts of Gaya, Darbhanga & Gopalganj covering 10 villages per district. A total of 528 Households along with 18 KIIs & 3 FGD were conducted with the community members. The report was developed based on the analysis of both the quantitative and qualitative data.
